1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing shop4wellness.uk (the “Site”) or enrolling in any Sports4Life Wellness (“S4WL”, “we”, “our”, “us”) programme, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must be at least 16 years old, or have written parental / guardian consent if younger.
  • You must complete and truthfully submit our registration form (including the PAR-Q health questionnaire) before attending any class.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel enrolment if the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate or poses a health or safety risk.

3. Health & safety declaration

All physical activity carries inherent risks. You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and must seek medical advice where necessary. By joining an S4WL session you confirm that:

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or injuries.
  • A qualified medical professional has cleared you to engage in the chosen activity, where applicable.
  • You will immediately stop exercising and inform the instructor if you feel dizzy, faint, experience pain or any abnormal symptoms.

4. Bookings, prices & payments

  • Class places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed only after payment (where a fee applies) or explicit email confirmation from us.
  • Current fees are displayed on the registration form. Example: Pay and Play Swimming (New) – £7.50 one-off fee.
  • Payments are processed securely via PayPal PPCP. We do not store full card details.
  • All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and inclusive of any applicable taxes.

5. Refund & cancellation policy

  • You may cancel a booking by emailing info@shop4wellness.uk at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations received within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable, except at our sole discretion (e.g. on medical grounds with evidence).
  • If we must cancel a session, you will be offered (i) a rescheduled date, (ii) a credit, or (iii) a full refund.

6. Code of conduct

  • Arrive on time and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • Follow all instructor directions and facility rules.
  • Treat staff, volunteers and fellow participants with respect.
  • No smoking, alcohol or illegal substances on site.
  • We may remove anyone who behaves dangerously or disruptively; no refund will be given in such cases.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, photos and videos—belongs to S4WL or its licensors. You may view or print materials for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, S4WL will not be liable for:

  • Any loss or damage arising from your own negligence or failure to follow instructions.
  • Indirect, consequential or economic losses (including loss of income, data or reputation).
  • Events beyond our reasonable control, such as facility closures or extreme weather.

9. Data protection & privacy

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge that policy.

10. Termination of services

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any programme if you breach these Terms or any safety rules. Any clauses that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7 & 8) will do so.

11. Updates to these terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use of the Site or our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
